    Jennifer Mañón (she/her), M.S. Ed., has been an early childhood teacher for 19 years in New York. After teaching and directing at Brooklyn-based progressive nursery school WNNS, Jennifer, her husband and their two (now high school) daughters relocated to Red Hook, NY. Jennifer worked at Bard College’s Nursery School before collaborating with Gabby to create Panorama Early Childhood. Jennifer loves to sing with children and is fulfilled by conversations and interactions with our youngest citizens.

    Jennifer also serves on the Board of Education for the Red Hook Central School District and the Steering Committee for the Red Hook Town Comprehensive Plan.

  • 3's Collaborative-Lead Teacher - Orange Class

    Nicole Jones (she/her) holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a degree in Fine Arts.

    Nicole has been with Panorama since the beginning in 2021 and is entering her 9th year as an early childhood teacher.

    Previously she worked at the Bard College Nursery School for three years. Before that she found the love of teaching while working summers during college at the preschool she went to as a child. She is always excited to form relationships with children and nurture their creativity.

    Nicole enjoys caring for her many house plants as well as going on adventures with her fiance and dachshunds. 

  • Assistant Teacher - Toddler / Purple Class & Infants Classroom

    Susan is a Waldorf Early Childhood Educator with 15 years of experience nurturing young children and supporting them as they discover who they are and what they can do. She believes in the importance of warm relationships, joyful play, creativity, and giving children the time and space to explore the world in their own unique ways.

    Susan was drawn to Panorama by its thoughtful, child-centered educational philosophy and its belief in honoring children as capable, curious, and creative individuals. She feels a natural connection to Panorama’s emphasis on relationships, exploration, and seeing the child as a whole person, and is excited to contribute her experience and love of early childhood to the community.

    Susan holds a B.A. in Sociology/Social Work from SUNY Fredonia, a Waldorf Early Childhood Certificate, and an Associate-level credential through the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Her experience supporting both young children and dyslexic learners has deepened her commitment to honoring each child’s individual strengths and way of learning.

    Outside of school, Susan enjoys cooking, baking, knitting, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

  • 3's Collaborative-Lead Teacher - Yellow Class

    Karina is originally from Chiapas Mexico and has a MS in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College in New York City. She has worked as an early years childhood educator in New York City, Mexico, Manchester, England and recently at Penn State University where she has been living for the last year and a half. Recently Karina, along with her husband, daughters and two dogs have moved to the area.

    The foundation of Karina’s approach to working with early-years children is based on being present, carefully listening and responding to what the children have to say in the process of providing a classroom environment where children feel loved and confident enough to explore their surroundings.

    Karina enjoys knitting and crocheting, reading, and taking walks with her family and her dogs (Belle and Jasper).  

  • 4's Lead Teacher - Blue Class

    Nicole Palms was born and raised in NYC. She earned her BFA from George Washington University and Masters in Education from Hunter College. Nicole has been a lead teacher in lower elementary classrooms since 2003. In 2020, Nicole moved with her family upstate and she and her girls joyfully submersed themselves in more outdoor and creative learning at a local, Waldorf-inspired school. Supporting and working with young people continues to be an enriching and fulfilling journey.

    Nicole is looking forward to a third year of sharing her experience and love of teaching with the families at Panorama.

    When they are not in school, Nicole and her daughters enjoy cooking, reading, making art, playing music, hanging out with friends, and taking long walks with their two dogs.

  • 18 months - 2's Lead Teacher - Green Class

    Becca Hardin (they/them), M.Ed. recently moved to the area from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a B.A in Psychology in 2018 and went on to complete their Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education at the same institution. They have over 10 years experience working in a multitude of therapeutic, child care, and educational positions including focuses in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Montessori, and nature-based education.

    Teaching 2’s holds a special place in their heart and they’re very excited to explore education in a less urban environment with more access to the outdoors. This will be Becca’s third year as a toddler teacher at Panorama!

    When they’re not teaching they enjoy crocheting with their partner, exploring nature, and catching a movie at the theater. 

  • Infants Collaborative Lead Teacher - Infants Class

    Michelle is excited to join the infant classroom and bring her creativity, warmth, and experience to the role. She earned her Associate's degree in Fashion Design and spent more than 20 years building and operating her own apparel company in Los Angeles. Since moving to the Hudson Valley in 2019, she has spent the past six years providing private childcare for infants and toddlers, where she found her passion for nurturing young children and building trusting relationships with families. She is dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and loving environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow.

    Outside of the classroom, Michelle is the proud mother of two adult children. She enjoys cooking, sewing, vintage shopping, and exploring the beauty of the Hudson Valley.

    During the summer months, she also owns and operates a seasonal food truck on the farm where she lives.

  • 4's Assistant Teacher - Blue Class

    Hannah has a deep love of anything and everything to do with the natural world and is excited to bring her many years of experience as an environmental educator to the classroom at Panorama. For the last 10 years Hannah has been working on farms and running a small herbal business and herb school here in the Hudson valley, leading plant walks and outdoor classes and sharing with people the wonders of ecology and plant medicine. She has a bachelor’s degree from Warren Wilson College where she studied Anthropology, Creative Writing, and Forest Biology. Hannah is also a mom to 2 wild girls, lives on a sheep farm, and is an avid gardener, reader, and writer. She loves art and making things with her hands, speaks French, and has recently become passionate about learning American Sign Language!

    Isabella is from the Hudson Valley and previously taught at a Forest Preschool in Atlanta, Georgia where she spent her days digging in dirt and making shelters out of sticks. She is so excited to be working with and learning from the children at Panorama.

    Hannah Sunshine (she/her) has been an educator for over 15 years, with experience working with children in a variety of early childhood and elementary school settings. She received an MS.Ed in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA from Bard College.  As a teacher, Hannah strives to learn and grow alongside the children in her care. 

    She particularly enjoys opportunities to facilitate outdoor learning and connection with nature. Outside of school, Hannah likes to spend time with her husband and daughter, exploring the delights that the Hudson Valley has to offer. 

  • Collaborative-Lead Teacher - Infants Class

    Cori Buer (she/her) holds a BA in psychology from the University of Montana. She has been an educator and childcare provider for 5 years, most recently at a nature-based school in Chicago where she worked with infants and toddlers. She is particularly passionate about the first two years of childhood and witnessing all the magical firsts that they experience. She is fulfilled by caring for our youngest learners and feels so grateful to be a part of the community at Panorama. 

    Cori, her husband, and their two cats recently relocated to the Hudson Valley from Chicago and are excited to explore the area and spend more time in nature. Outside of the classroom she likes to knit, travel, and stumble through adult beginner ballet classes.

  • Co-Director/Founder and Toddler Lead Teacher - Purple Class

    Gabrielle Maloney (she/her) has been working in early childhood education for 13 years, and holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College, with a BA from Bard College. Prior to joining Panorama, she was a lead teacher in a 2/3s class at Barrow Street Nursery School in Manhattan and taught in a 2/3s program at a progressive preschool in Brooklyn.

    Gabrielle is passionate about creating joyful, nurturing classroom communities where children feel confident, curious, and connected. Outside of school, she loves to bake, play tennis with her team Smash Hits, explore the beautiful Hudson Valley, and cozy up with a good book. Gabrielle got married this summer and is excited to welcome her first child this October! She looks forward to bringing this new lens of motherhood into her work with young children and, after her maternity leave, having her baby join the Panorama infants program.

  • 3s Collaborative-Lead Teacher - Orange Class


    Sarah (she/her) recently relocated to the Hudson Valley from NYC with her husband, two kids, and cat. She holds an MS in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College and previously taught at Williamsburg Neighborhood Nursery School (WNNS), an independent preschool in Brooklyn. Sarah is passionate about nurturing, progressive education, and always strives to lead with curiosity, love, and fun.

    When she’s not working, she enjoys going on nature walks with her family, exploring farmers markets, and discovering new music. Sarah is very excited to continue her teaching career this year and get to know the Panorama community.

  • Toddler Assistant Teacher - Green Class

    Anastasiia is a kind and caring individual with a Philology degree and experience in childcare in Eastern Europe. She has a deep passion for helping children learn about the world through play and is a creative crafter. Anastasia enjoys weaving macramé as a hobby and loves nothing more than traveling with her family and is always ready to share her knowledge with those around her. This will be Anastasiia’s third year as a teacher at Panorama!

  • Toddler Assistant Teacher - Purple Class

    Emily Ungvary (she/her) is a mom raising two kids with her husband in the picturesque Hudson Valley. Originally from Buffalo, NY, she has a B.S. in Business Administration from The State University of New York at Buffalo.

    She’s passionate about creating a nurturing environment for her own children and brings a well-rounded background from the worlds of business, hospital, and academic administration to her role as Assistant Teacher at Panorama Early Childhood. This will be Emily’s third year as a teacher at Panorama!

    Outside of work, she likes to garden, hike the scenic trails of the Catskills, and continues her quest to find the best pizza in the area. Her family also includes a dog, and two cats.

    Emily is looking forward to fostering a sense of care and building community with the team at Panorama!
